About Punjab State Lottery Schemes
Government of Punjab’s official lottery is “Punjab State Lotteries” which is handled by The Directorate of Finance Department Punjab and was built in 1968. The Directorate is the head of lottery department and Director is a senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service. The Director is supported by Deputy Director and other supporting staff. The Directorate is responsible to provide clean and transparent lottery to the customers who are buying their lotteries. These lottery schemes are conducted under the provisions of The Punjab State Lotteries Rule 1998, Lotteries (Regulations) Act 1998, and The Lotteries (Regulation) Rules 2010.There are 3 lottery schemes run by Punjab Govt. which are Bumper Lottery Scheme , Monthly lottery Scheme and Weekly Lottery Scheme – KS Chawla Lottery
Weekly Lottery Scheme
This scheme is available on every week. Ticket price for this lottery scheme is Rs. 20/- per ticket. First Jackpot prize in this scheme is Rs. 5 Lakhs, 2nd prize is 1 Lakhs & 3rd prize is 50,000. So many other prizes are also there in this scheme Draw of weekly lottery has been held every week on Tuesday night.
Punjab State Monthly Lottery Scheme
This scheme is available every month in a year. The ticket price for this lottery scheme is Rs. 50/- only per lottery ticket. First prize in this scheme is Rs. 51 Lakhs, 2nd prize is 5 Lakhs & 3rd prize is 1 Lakhs. So many other prizes are also there in this scheme.
Punjab State Bumper Lottery Scheme
This is the biggest lottery scheme organized by Punjab Government. Punjab State Bumper lottery scheme offers four Bumpers in 4 quarters.1.Punjab State New Year Lohri Bumper, 2.Punjab State Baisakhi Bumper, 3.Punjab State Rakhi Bumper & 4.Punjab State Diwali Bumper falls under this scheme. Details may change every year for these lottery schemes. The Bumper lottery price falls between Rs.100/- to Rs. 200/- only per ticket and the jackpot prize is around 1 Crore to 2 Crores and Many other big prizes for distribution ranging from Rs. 10 Lakhs to Rs.300.
